This is a closer view of the rear of the house. The bay window received new Hardie and trim. Standing seam roofing was used to accent the roof. The Iron Gray Hardie siding blends well with the black door and roofing. A 4" picture frame trim was installed around the windows and doors.

OVERVIEW

This home in Columbia, MD originally had vinyl siding. The homeowner purchased the home with a vision! 

The exisitng siding was warping and developed significant mold/mildew growth in many areas. The roof was leaking and severely stained. The owner researched many different exterior products. Hardie siding was the best option to add curb appeal on the walls. Timberlineroofing was chosen for the new roof.  Hardie house wrap was installed to create a thermal barrier. Hardieplank Iron Gray siding was installed with matching trim materials. Two new dormers were built with fiberglass windows to create a balanced appearance. A portico was added above the front entry. Standing seam metal roofing was installed as an accent.  This customer now has a beautiful, low maintenance exterior. The Timberline roofing has a 50 year labor/material warranty when installed by a Certified Roofing Contractor. New railings and trim on the deck were the finishing touches.

This is angled view of the front dormers shows the different dimensions of the house. You can also custom column trim detail that was added to the center window.  The black roofing compliments the siding color. The cedarmill siding texture is very popular in Columbia, MD.

Many siding contractors aren't experienced with this product line. Improper installation will void the 30 Year Hardie Warranty.

This image shows a closer look at the new dormer that was installed on the front. Fiberglass windows are durable and perform well under extreme conditions.  The Charcoal roofing color blends well with the siding and gutters. The custom column detail on the sides of the dormer adds architectural appeal. 

This photo shows closer view of the roofline. Arctic White Hardie trim was installed on the fascia, soffit, and rakes. Drip edge was installed around the perimeter of the roof to prrevent water peneteration. Coal Grey RainPro gutters blend well with Iron Gray siding. RainPro gutters come with a durable finish. 

Here you see an image from the rear of the home. To compliment the siding, the deck rails were replaced with Wolf Westbury Aluminum Rails. The black railings accent the siding and roofing colors. Custom column trim was added below to finish the look.
